Monde de Rave

Monde de Rave is a fictional 2026 newspaper where rave culture becomes a contagious force reshaping reality. Self-edited and exhibited in Nantes at La Safe Place on October 2025.

Monde de Rave is an imaginary newspaper set in 2026, conceived as a strange, shifting object, halfway between documentation and hallucination. Through fictional articles, absurd chronicles and vibrant illustrations, it blurs the line between credible news and collective delirium.

At the heart of the project lies a global dancing epidemic: a virus that spreads through bodies, rhythms and crowds, generating joy, chaos and sweat. Rave is no longer just a party but a social phenomenon, contaminating everyday life, institutions and belief systems.

Oscillating between science fiction and plausible news, utopia and dystopia, humour and political tension, Monde de Rave explores how celebration can act as a form of resistance, loss of control and shared trance. It imagines a world where dance becomes language, protest, escape and contamination — a space where laughter, vertigo and collective energy redefine reality itself.

This self-initiated project sits between a fanzine, a calendar and a fictional narrative, with a hidden soundtrack woven into the experience. It also has a game page at the end for those who were courageous enough to decode the dream.
